Dr. Farzad Zare-Bawani

Dr. Farzad Zare-Bawani is a practicing Clinical Psychologist with Child and forensic specialty, and Associate Professor of Psychology at Concordia University of Edmonton. Dr. Zare-Bawani works with a wide range of clients, including families, couples, children, and adults. He has extensive experience in both therapy and assessment in multicultural community environments and with multi-lingual clients.
In addition to English, Dr. Zare-Bawani provides psychological services in French (only in selected cases) and Persian.

Christie Ladouceur
M.C., Registered Psychologist
Christie Ladouceur is a Métis Registered Psychologist who is fully bilingual in French and English. As a member of the Indigenous community, Christie has worked extensively with First Nations and Métis communities and youth. She has also worked with school boards and Children’s Services. Christie works with a broad range of clients including, children, youth, and adults. Christie has extensive experience providing therapy and assessment for a diverse range of individual and family issues from a holistic and client focused perspective. In her practice, she works from a culturally sensitive approach and integrates various therapeutic techniques to meet client needs. She strives to foster a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for clients to find healing and growth.

I approach my therapeutic practice with the understanding that each person does their best with the resources available to them. I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist in Alberta, and a sessional instructor in psychology at Concordia University of Edmonton. My professional experience includes psychological assessment, and guiding families caring for children who have experienced trauma, loss, grief, social and emotional challenges, and/or FASD. In my practice, I come alongside individuals who are navigating personal challenges, family transitions, and complex circumstances. I believe that people are capable of positive change, and I have seen how strength can emerge in the midst of struggle. I offer you a safe and welcoming space where you can heal and engage in personal growth.
